The Food

The food is simply great in Pita Pan very unusual very clean tasting and delicious in every sense of the word. This restaurant is   patronized with lots of customers and many of them are regular ones because they are absolutely sure that they will get quality food and that is   extremely healthy. Mr Kunal provides food for thought and thought for food and when you eat here  no matter how   much   you stuff yourself you come away not feeling full and bothered but you come away with a clean after taste in your system and it is not at all heavy on the digestive system. The main staple here is the Pitta Bread and it is just simply awesome. soft as silk and simply melts in your mouth.. Pita or pitta is a soft, slightly leavened flatbread baked from wheat flour. It is used in many Mediterranean, Balkan and Middle Eastern cuisines and resembles other slightly leavened flatbreads such as Iranian nan-e barbari, South Asian flatbreads and Central Asian naan, and pizza crust. Pita can be used to scoop sauces or dips such as hummus  or to wrap kebabs, gyros or falafel in the manner of sandwiches. It can also be cut and baked into crispy pita chips .The Pitta bread is made inhouse and the dough in Pita Pan comes from the Meditaranean

Baba Ganoush, which is often called caviar d’aubergines, a tasty spread which is easy to make, and even improves if made a day or two in advance. Serve it with toasted bread or pita triangles.

Falafel is a deep-fried ball or patty made from ground chickpeas, fava beans, or both. Falafel is a traditional Middle Eastern food, commonly served in a pita, which acts as a pocket, or wrapped in a flatbread known as lafa; "falafel" also frequently refers to a wrapped sandwich that is prepared in this way. The falafel balls are topped with salads, pickled vegetables, hot sauce, and drizzled with tahini-based sauces. Falafel balls may also be eaten alone as a snack or served as part of a meze tray (assortment of appetizers).

Falafel is a common dish eaten throughout the Middle East. The fritters are now found around the world as a replacement for meat[ and as a form of street food. The Falafel here is gluten free. This is the best falafel in town it is  full of nutrition and goodness lightly  crispy and extremely delicious

Shakshuka, a Traditional Baked Egg Dish

Shakshuka may be at the apex of eggs-for-dinner recipes, though in Israel it is breakfast food, a bright, spicy start to the day with a pile of pita or challah served on the side. (It also makes excellent brunch or lunch food.) It’s a one-skillet recipe of eggs baked in a tomato-red pepper sauce spiced with cumin, paprika and cayenne. First you make that sauce, which comes together fairly quickly on top of the stove, then you gently crack each of the eggs into the pan, nestling them into the sauce. The pan is moved into the oven to finish. Shakshuka originated in North Africa, and like many great dishes there are as many versions as there are cooks who have embraced it. This one strays from more traditional renditions by adding crumbled feta cheese, which softens into creamy nuggets in the oven’s heat.In Pita Pan it is served either  with Red Bell Pepper sauce and tomato or there is Green Shakshuka with Halomi cheese and spinach. It is clean tasting  and light  food full of nutrition and goodness

The Houmous

Hummus or houmous  is a Levantine and Egyptian food dip or spread made from cooked, mashed chickpeas blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic.Today, it is popular throughout the Middle East (including Turkey), North Africa (including Morocco), and in Middle Eastern cuisine around the globe. Hummus is an Arabic word meaning "chickpeas," and the complete name of the prepared spread in Arabic is , which means "chickpeas with tahini As an appetizer and dip, hummus is scooped with flatbread, such as pita. It is also served as part of a meze or as an accompaniment to falafel, grilled chicken, fish or eggplant. Garnishes include chopped tomato, cucumber, coriander, parsley, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, whole chickpeas, olive oil, hard-boiled eggs, paprika, sumac, ful, olives, pickles and pine nuts (. Outside the Middle East, it is sometimes served with tortilla chips or crackers.

Hummus ful (pronounced is topped with a paste made from fava beans boiled until soft and then crushed. Hummus masubha/mashawsha is a mixture of hummus paste, warm chickpeas and tahini.

Hummus is a popular dip in Egypt where it is eaten with pita bread, and frequently flavored with cumin  or other spices.

Hummus is a common part of everyday meals in Israel. A significant reason for the popularity of hummus in Israel is that it is made from ingredients that, following Kashrut (Jewish dietary laws), can be combined with both meat and dairy meals. Few other foods can be combined with a wide variety of meals consistently with the dietary laws. It is seen as almost equally popular amongst Israeli Jews and Israeli Arabs.] As a result of its popularity, Israelis elevated hummus to become a "national food symbol" and consume more than twice as much hummus as neighboring Arab countries. Many restaurants run by Mizrahi Jews and Arab citizens of Israel are dedicated to hot hummus, which may be served as chick peas softened with baking soda along with garlic, olive oil, cumin and tahini. One of the fancier hummus versions available is hummus masabacha, made with lemon-spiked tahini garnished with whole chick peas, a sprinkling of paprika and a drizzle of olive oil.] Hummus is sold in restaurants, supermarkets and hummus-only shops (known in Hebrew as humusiot. The Humous here in Pita Pan has a creamy consistency and it is so good it is just divine .Quite honestly it is the best homous I have ever tasted so far
