High Commission of India in Singapore and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) are organizing 7th “Invest North” Summit on 3&4 September 2018 in Singapore to highlight investment and business opportunities in India’s Northern States.
Indian’s northern region comprised some of the most dynamic states with high growth rates, excellent connectivity and infrastructure, high level of skills and rapidly urbanizing population, including in the National Capital Region, which hosts relatively high earning population of over 45 million.
This edition of “Invest North” in Singapore will feature three states – Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Capt Amarinder Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat and Hon’ble Industry Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Satish Mahana and other senior officials from these States will participate in the event.
“Invest North” will showcase the various business and investment opportunities in specific projects and sectors in the northern region of India. Most of the priority sectors of development in these States are aligned with Singapore’s strengths, including in areas like infrastructure, logistics, urban solutions, skills development, tourism infrastructure, financial services, digital economy and manufacturing sectors such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, food processing, etc.
The event will provide interaction and networking opportunities with the Chief Ministers, Minister and key government officials and industry leaders from the region.
“Invest North” Summit will be held at Heliconia Main Ballroom, Level 3, Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, Singapore. The Registration will open at 8.30 AM.
