The prestigious Pravasi Express “ Vanitha Ratna Award" was presented to Mrs. Latha K Namboothiri. The award was given during Pravasi Express second anniversary celebrations at Somerset Nexus Auditorium, coloured with musical concert and cultural programs.
Mrs. Latha K Namboothiri is the Managing Director of Kristal Group based in Banglore. Apart from being a successful business woman, she is also associated with various social groups, charity institutions and cultural organisations including the welfare activities.
Indian High Commission First Secretary Mr.Babu Paul and Pravasi Express Chief Editor Rajesh Kumar were present in the function .

After the award ceremony musical concert led by Legendary Singer P Jayachandran , Ragesh Brahmanandan , Snehaja , Chandralekha , Mohiniattam performance by Gayathri Devi & fusion dance by the Singapore dancers were performed.
