SG50 Singapore Fashion Runway, a community initiative supported by the SG50 Celebration Fund, came to a spectacular end with a grand finale show on 13 December 2015 at *SCAPE.

This project, which brought Singaporeans and Singapore residents together to design, produce and co-create 50 outfits that are inspired by Singapore's culture proved once and for all that there is immense talent in Singapore – past, present and future.

Minister Grace Fu, Minister of Culture, Community & Youth and Leader of the House was the Gust of Honour for the occasion. Minister Grace Fu also further supported the platform of SG50 Singapore Fashion Runway by wearing a dress designed by its founder, Eileen Yap together with two home-based seamstresses, Ms Suria Affizah  and Ms Salina Salim. The outfit had beautiful floral prints and was inspired by the gardens of Singapore.

The finale began with an amazing video showcase presenting the highlights of the SG50 Singapore Fashion Runway project since its launch in June 2015.

This was followed by a runway show of designs created by SG50 Singapore Fashion Runway participants as well as local fashion labels who joined forces on this initiative – Bloom Singapore, Dulcetfig, Anje, Funfit, Petite Dress Boutique, Little Qipao, Noel Caleb, Little Odd Forest, Chere & Dillon, 1214 Alley, Formasian Label, Q Menswear, Batua by Barsha, Fanurly and Singlestitch.
