Google India wishes Happy Republic Day with a beautiful doole on its homepage. "Google" is displayed in the three colors of the tricolor and the second O being carried by a team of motorbikers, which remembering the performances showcased by the Indian army at the Republic Day events. Clicking on the doodle will give a result with Republic days news and info. This is the fourth year when Google has featured a doodle on its home page to mark the Republic Day of India.
Republic Day is one of three national holidays in India, other two being Independence Day and Gandhi Jayanti. The main Republic Day celebration is held in the national capital, New Delhi, at the Rajpath before the President of India. On this day, ceremonious parades take place at the Rajpath, which are performed as a tribute to India.
