Singapore : Pravasi Express celebrated its second anniversary celebration at Somerset Nexus Auditorum with Award Nite , musical concert and cultural programs
The prestigious "Pravasi Express Malayalee Ratna Award" was given to Tan Sri Datuk Ravindran Menon by Ambassador Gopinath Pillai at the function . The award was given considering his contribution to the society in social service and charity activities .He is the co-founder & Group Executive Director of ARI Group, director of the biggest Airport Terminal Subang Sky Park in Malaysia &President of All Malaysian Malayalee Association currently .Considering his contribution to the society Indian Government honoured him by giving "Pravsi Bharatheeya Samman".
Indian High Commission First Secretary Mr.Babu Paul , Pravasi Express Chief Editor Rajesh Kumar were present in the function .
Few other awards also were distributed in the function . They were given to Legend Singer P Jayachandran ( Life Time Achievement Award), South Indian Super Star Priya Mani ( Youth Icon Award ), Senior and Poet from Singapore MK Bhasi (Literary award ), Upcoming Singapore Malayalee Businessman Reju Kumar ( Young entrepreneur award),Founder of IT firm Corporate 360 Varun Chandran (Young Achiever award ),business man and NORKA director Alexander Vadakkedam ( Business Excellence Award ),Real Estate firm Kristal Group Director Latha K Namboodiri ( Vanita Ratna Award),artist Anjali George ( Raising star of the year ).
After the award ceremony musical concert led by Legendary Singer P Jayachandran , Ragesh Brahmanandan , Snehaja , Chandralekha , Mohiniattam performance by Gayathri Devi & fusion dance by the Singapore dancers were performed.
