Dubai: Consulate General of India had launched an official App called CGI Dubai on 27th January 2016. Several users have availed the services and appreciated the initiative, as it provided easy access to information from the Consulate. It has an emergency SOS feature that can be used for any emergency situations and all other consul needs can be met through the app like passport services, visa services, attestations etc.
Feedback and suggestions were received from many users. Based on those inputs, the Consulate General has now added some more facilities to the ”The CGI App” with features offering quick information on various services, including passport, Consular, Labour & welfare services, cultural events, news updates etc.
The upgraded App will now have an interactive platform for seeking appointments with officers as well. It is expected that the new features would connect the large Indian community with the Consulate with a click of a button, at all times, so that the Consulate could extend its services and assistance more efficiently and expeditiously. The App can also connect with other services like attestations, marriage registration, visa services etc.
The Consulate requests members of the Indian community to download the App and provide your opinion and valuable suggestions, so that we can customize the services to serve better.
This App is available on Google Play for Android users and iTunes & Apps for I-Phone users
