The semi final line up for the inaugural edition of ISL is finalized, after today's FC GOA and ATK match which was ended in a 1-1 draw.
Fikru's penalty in the second half meant ATK earned the point they needed to go through to the semi-finals. Edgar Marcelino scored a fantastic screamer in the first half for Goa. These two teams will face each other in the semi-finals.
The semi finals will be played in two-legs (Home & Away).The team ranked first Chennaiyin FC will be facing the 4th team on the table , Kerala Blasters. The first match of the this two-leg semi final will be played on 13th Dec,2014 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Cochin and the second match at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai, the home ground of Chennaiyin FC.FC Goa, who is ranked 2nd on the table will face the 3rd placed team Atletico de kolkata at Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata on 14TH December, followed by the second match at Goa on 17th, Dec,2014.
