Supported by Kalapravaha – Home of Performing Arts, Shashtha Sarga continues the artistic journey of Kathak Pravaha with a production built around an intriguing connection: the number six.
The title itself carries this idea — Shashtha meaning “sixth” and Sarga referring to a chapter or canto. While the performance represents the sixth chapter in the Kathak Pravaha journey, the number also resonates deeply with the symbolism surrounding Lord Kartikeya, providing the production with its central artistic inspiration.
